Do you celebrate dating anniversaries

Rated 3.81/5 based on 771 customer reviews

In this culture where divorce is a common occurrence, just the fact that you made it another year means that you’ve hit a milestone in your marriage.

Even if things aren’t perfect or the way you had hoped they would be, staying together for another year deserves a celebration.

My most recent girlfriend and I celebrated EVERY SINGLE DAY of our relationship.

As in "Happy 58th Day" cards and presents and fun surprises. The relationship didn't last all that long (about five months) - but, in my opinion, the mere idea of APPRECIATING EVERY DAY you have the good fortune to spend with someone you love is valuable, in and of itself. =DWe have three different anniversaries which are very special to us: 1) Our "life is forever changed" anniversary (august).

I do not want to be in a relationship where treating each other beautifully and extra special is reserved for one day a only celebrate the actual wedding anniversay, could not be bothered trying to remember the actual date we got together or date he proposed, although I could say the month and year.

before getting married we did not celebrate when we first got together or our engagment.

My most recent girlfriend and I celebrated EVERY SINGLE DAY of our relationship. Some years we'd celebrate it by dancing out in the bush to crazy psytrance while munching on psychedelics...

It's more of a competition than anything to celebrate the 10th day of each month, i.e. other years we'd go out to dinner and reallllllly treat ourselves, since we both share a strong love for food.

We enjoyed the time to just focus on our marriage and not have to worry about the responsibilities of home and work life.

This is the anniversary of the first day we met in real life, first kiss, first day we touched each other.

A truly life changing day which I will always want to celebrate.

Yes, you’ll need to plan ahead and save up some money. One of our fondest memories as a couple is when we went away for our 10th anniversary.

We went to the White Mountains in NH and stayed at a lovely bed & breakfast.
